My Job Chart - free online site to reward your children!

"Do I have to?"

If you're a parent, no doubt you've heard that phrase a thousand times. Getting your children to do things is a struggle. Chores? Cleaning their room? Doing homework? Kids just naturally rebel against all these things.

So what's a parent to do?

There's a wonderful new website designed to help with this very problem! It's called My Job Chart. It's designed to be a tool for getting your children to do the things you ask, and it also allows you to reward them for doing so.

Best of all, it's FREE!

Here's how it works:

Sign up for free to create your account.
Assign jobs.
Kids do the jobs and log their progress online.
Parents offer rewards for job completion.

Children nowadays are used to cell phones, Internet sites, video games, etc. So having their job/chore charts online instead of tacked on the refrigerator door is an ingenious idea. Kids will actually use this site where they might not give your homemade chart a second glance!

Using an easy and fun online system, My Job Chart inspires kids to do their chores on time. An interactive point system tracks your child's progress, creating excitement and enthusiasm among kids. And the fully customizable chore chart allows you and your child to decide upon mutually determined rewards, fostering communication and developing responsibility. You even get an email or text message when your kids finish their chores or they earn a reward!

I love the idea of an online chore chart! I'm going to try it out right now. How about you? It's at least worth a look, don't you think?

Disclosure: I was entered into a giveaway for a chance to win a $100 gift card in exchange for writing this post. I received no monetary consideration whatsoever.

I just write my kids jobs on a marker board with their name next to the job. My kids do not spend hours on the computer.

It's not for hours. It only takes a couple of minutes, it's so simple and quick and the kids LOVE it. They like how they have their own passwords to log in and have their picture and they can select rewards.
