Brilliant Lenses - I can see clearly now! {giveaway}

I'm trying something new. I got a countertop toaster oven that has a rotisserie function, so I bought a nice looking pork tenderloin and I'm experimenting with the rotisserie.

For the first time.

Wish me luck. :)

Anyway, I had to get the little instruction booklet out that came with the cooker to make sure I was doing everything correctly and...I couldn't read the fine print.

I wear contact lenses because my vision without them is horrendous. But I can see up close and read just fine without them. But I need the contacts for long range vision, like driving. But then I have to wear reading glasses to read when my contacts are in.

So I have this marvelous pair of reading glasses I got from Reading Glasses Online and I whipped them on to read the instruction booklet. Hmmm...everything was still a little foggy.

I took off the reading glasses and could see a heavy-ish layer of smudge and dust and who-knows-what-all on the lenses. So I promptly wiped them on my shirttail.

Okay, pop quiz time---

What's wrong with this picture?

Are you guilty of wiping your glasses on your shirt too? Or table napkin or paper towel or whatever is handy? Yeah, I thought so.

Okay, time's up on the pop quiz. The answer is: Instead of cleaning my reading glasses with my shirt, I should have used Brilliant Lenses cleaner with optical microfiber cloth.
There. I cheated on the quiz, because really, how could you have known that? And how could I have been so pre-occupied as to forget about using it?

My bad. But taking another look at my glasses lenses, they still aren't clear, even after wiping them with my shirttail. Sometimes you just smudge the smudge, know what I mean?

So I whipped out the Brilliant Lenses cleaner and cloth and voila! Sparkling clear glasses again! In an instant! And the best part is they will stay that way for a good long while until I need to clean them again.

The secret is something the manufacturer calls SR-8 that adds an invisible protective barrier to lenses to resist scratches, soiling, and water marks. It can be used on ALL types of lenses.

* SR-8 is a Polimer Additive that reduces surface tension making cleaning easier each time it is used
* SR-8 Coats the lens leaving a protective barrier
* SR-8 Improves scratch resistance
* SR-8 Will not dry out protective coatings
* Cleans Glass & Plastic Lenses
* No Alcohol or Ammonia
* Added scratch resistance with SR-8
* Comes with a Micro Fiber Cleaning Pad
* Also works on Phones, Monitors, and MP3 players!
Okay, I haven't tried it on my cell phone yet, but I will when I can remember it. Monitors? Oh yeah. Especially gadgets like an iPad or iPod Touch that you put your fingers all over all the time. And MP3 players too. Video will look a lot better when the screen is crystal clear.
