Reading glasses for computer users! {review & giveaway}

I admit it: I'm vain. I'm also blind as a bat, but dislike glasses with a passion. I prefer contacts, and have worn contacts nearly my whole adult life.

I'm nearsighted, so the contacts I wear are designed to correct my vision for driving and seeing at a distance, but they are horrible for reading or up-close work.

So with my contacts I wear reading glasses to read. Even outdoors, I wear reading sunglasses! How neat is that idea! Now I can read my book or magazine at the beach or lying in the hammock and still protect my eyes from harmful rays too. Check out these gorgeous bifocal sunglasses for women.

Anytime I'm reading, I wear reading glasses. Even for reading on the computer screen.

Little did I know that I was overdoing it for the computer!

I received the Houston unisex computer reading glasses to review and let me tell you, I LOVE THESE GLASSES!!

They are so stylish, and would be appropriate for both men and women (although I think women would like them more than men, simply because of the delicate frame design). They also have adjustable nose pieces and spring hinges.

That's important to me. I won't ever again buy any reading glasses without the spring hinges. They not only fit your face better (they automatically adjust themselves and stay tight) but they are nearly indestructible. How many times have you ruined a pair of glasses by bending or breaking off one of the ear pieces? The spring hinges are ingenious for preventing that kind of mishap.

Now, here's the main point of why I chose these glasses: They are dual-power. Yep, they have these little "bifocal" areas at the bottom of the lenses that are your true reading magnification power and what you would use to read printed material, books, magazines, etc. But the upper part is about half that magnification power and is all you need to read your computer screen.

Yes, I realize that this sounds unbelievable. But it's true, or at least it's true for me. These really work! And the lenses have an anti-glare coating to help reduce eye strain from the computer screen. I would never have believed that I didn't need the same power for my computer screen that I need for reading a book. These computer reading glasses make it easy to work at your desk, looking at the computer, then looking at whatever printed material through the "bifocals".

Don't let the word "bifocals" throw you. They are really easy and comfortable to use. I have noticed a lot less eye strain wearing these glasses for working on the computer, and I don't have to switch to a higher power magnification to read print material. I am hooked!

Reading Glasses Shopper has the widest selection of reading glasses I've ever seen anywhere. And very stylish! These aren't your cheap discount store reading glasses. Nope, these are high quality glasses, but without the high price tag. A little more than you'd pay for those discount store glasses, but so worth the difference!

So if you wear reading glasses, you owe it to yourself to check out Reading Glasses Shopper.
