New Purex No Sort for Colors detergent really works! #giveaway

Raise your hand if you've ever accidentally washed mixed colors/whites together and got bleed-through, ruining something you loved?

Aha! Just as I thought.... I'm not the only one who's ever done this!

I've got a drawer full of pink underwear now. They used to be white. And try explaining to hubby what happened to his shorts. Might as well throw them all away and buy new ones. Guys won't wear pink undershorts. :p

Purex to the rescue! Stop sorting laundry! Prevent color bleeding!

New Purex No Sort laundry detergent for colors will prevent laundry colors from bleeding onto other items by trapping loose dyes in the wash water, thus reducing color bleeding accidents. Anti-Color-Transfer Technology does not let loose dyes settle onto other fabrics.

My personal problem with color bleeding accidents (aside from the ubiquitous pink underwear!) has been with synthetics. I bought two new blouses, one dark cotton, one pink synthetic, and accidentally washed them together in the same load. Even in cold water, my new pink blouse was ruined when dark dye from the new cotton blouse bled onto it. I could have cried. Only got to wear it once, and now it's only fit for the rag pile.

So I stopped buying synthetics if at all possible. They just can't be trusted. Of course I also should have known that the new dark cotton blouse should have been washed all by itself to prevent possible bleeding, just like you do with new jeans. But that kind of laundry sorting is a real chore when you're already pressed for time or get distracted.

That's why I was so excited to try new Purex No Sort for Colors detergent.

I didn't have any synthetics to throw into the test wash, since I don't buy them anymore, but I did have a brand new pair of white cotton underwear that I was willing to risk. So I just grabbed some colored items, threw in the white underwear, and used Purex No Sort to do a load of laundry.

I love to add Purex Crystals to my wash too. The scents are heavenly!

Now let's look at the laundry after it's finished ---

The result? IT WORKS! No bleeding whatsoever. My white cotton underpants are still white. Hurray!

Now, to be honest the colored items I washed were not new. They had been previously washed several times, so any natural bleeding may have already occurred. No way to know if that was the case or not. The only thing I can tell you for a certainty is that nothing bled onto the white cotton underwear, so I feel like I can trust Purex No Sort to eliminate color sorting when I do laundry from now on.

And that's a big thumbs up in my book!

Of course, Purex No Sort for Colors detergent isn't a miracle worker. You'll still need to be careful with new strongly colored fabrics, especially jeans. Those probably need to be washed separately at least 5 times before you'll feel safe enough to add them to a mixed laundry load. But after that, it's a small blessing not to have to worry about color bleed stains anymore!

Give it a try. You might find that new Purex No Sort for Colors is just what your laundry needs!
